1. Overview
The new generation H3C UniServer R6900 G5 is an enterprise-level 4U four-way server for critical business independently developed by H3C. H3C UniServer R6900 G5 adopts a modular design of the whole machine, and its key components are fully redundant, achieving a higher level of reliability and availability. It is an ideal choice for critical business workloads, virtualization, server consolidation, databases, business processing and general 4-way data-intensive applications.

Reliability built for enterprise-level critical business
In order to enable customers’ key business to achieve business continuity, the H3C UniServer R6900 G5 server has been carefully designed in terms of reliability, such as temperature sensor redundancy. When the temperature sensor of a component is abnormal, the backup temperature sensor will replace the temperature sensor of the component to ensure the normal operation of the server. The HDM management system also adopts a redundant design. The primary and backup images are stored in different ROMs, supporting fault switching and independent upgrades to improve the reliability of the server.
H3C UniServer R6900 G5 has passed the 9-intensity earthquake resistance test of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s Telecommunication Technology Laboratory. The whole machine has a strong structure and can effectively defend more than 90% of earthquake hazards in the next 50 years, and timely and effectively protect data and property safety.
Perfect and easy-to-use full life cycle management
It can be built-in with an intelligent diagnosis module and equipped with a 3.5-inch touch screen that supports multi-angle rotation. It has friendly human-computer interaction, supports basic parameter settings, views system monitoring status, and obtains detailed fault information to help users quickly troubleshoot. The front dedicated management port can be expanded with a USB Wi-Fi module, making it easy for mobile devices to access HDM via Wi-Fi, making server configuration and management faster and more convenient. It can also expand OCP Debug card or HDM U disk tool to achieve offline diagnosis.
